This website has no forms, does not use analytics or advertising cookies and does not load third-party content on its own: that only happens if you press the button to play a YouTube video (see "YouTube videos"). Your data only reaches us if you write to us by email.

Processing activities

1. Entrants in the Guitar Making Competition

  • Data: those in Annex I (identification, tax identification, date of birth and age, nationality, address, telephone, email, biography; in the case of minors, the legal guardian's details), technical report, photographs and CV.
  • Purpose: managing participation in the competition (entry, selection, communication with finalists, jury's decision and award ceremony) and, under the rules accepted, promoting the competition and the documentary project on the legacy of Antonio de Torres through the image of the entrant and their instrument.
  • Legal basis: the data subject's consent when submitting the entry and acceptance of the rules (Art. 6.1.a and 6.1.b GDPR).
  • Retention: for the duration of the competition and for as long as necessary to deal with any liabilities. Prizewinners' data will be kept as part of the competition's historical archive.
  • Recipients: members of the jury (only the technical documentation needed for assessment). Data is not disclosed to third parties unless required by law.

2. Enquiries by email

  • Purpose: to answer your enquiry.
  • Legal basis: your consent.
  • Retention: for as long as necessary to deal with it.

Email provider

The Sociedad uses a Google email service (Gmail). Google may process data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards provided by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

YouTube videos

Some activities or news items may include a YouTube video, a service of Google Ireland Limited. The video is not loaded when the page opens: the image you see is stored on this website. Only if you press "Play video" does your browser connect to YouTube (through youtube-nocookie.com), and YouTube may receive your IP address and technical data from your browser, and store or read information on your device, under its own policy. Legal basis: your consent when you press the button. If you do not press it, no data is sent to YouTube. More information in Google's privacy policy and in our cookie policy (in Spanish).

Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to sociedadantoniodetorres@gmail.com or by post to C/ Solidaridad, 1, 04130 El Alquián (Almería), Spain. If you consider that your rights have not been addressed, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es).
